In My Opinion...
I am a big fan of creep records. Despite being in the Piazza at Schmidts, they manage to keep their pricing reasonable and the records in great condition. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. That makes all of the difference in records stores to me. I was even able to scoop up a copy of Dr. Dog's Live at the Flamingo Hotel, which came out only days before my visit. They have a pretty sweet collection of Hardcore and Metal vinyl, which are rare to find in record stores. I appreciated their large selection of new records because it's much more enjoyable to purchase a new record in an actual record store instead of clicking a few buttons and having a business ship it to my house. Where is the fun in that?
What the people say...
I actually took my current girlfriend on our first date to a show at Creep Records 6 years ago when they were still in Phoenixville. The "creep house" was around the corner from my parent's place and I probably saw Spraynard play like 10 times while I was still in high school. One time I was walking home wearing a Jawbreaker shirt and some dude out front having a smoke stopped me and gave me like 20 CD's of local hardcore and punk just because. They have a great selection of vinyl including some seriously hard to come by 90's/00's emo/screamo shit like the Don Martin Three and My Favorite Citizen. Solid label, good people, cool shows.

Record Breakdown
Type of Vinyl: New and Used
Trade-ins? Not that I am aware of.
Pricing: Used records are on the more expensive side. Roughly $5-$15 for one record. New records compare to the pricing on Amazon. Roughly $20-$25 a piece.
Average Condition: Although the used records are on the higher side, their condition is pretty great. The covers are consistantly in tact, and the records are clean of scratches.
Digging Required? Not much. The records are organized fairly well, and are all located on waist-high selving. A majority of the used and new records are not broken down by genre, so there is where a majority of the digging will be required. They are alphabetical, which helps a great deal.
Great for people looking for: New records of all genres, box sets, metal and hardcore, indie, and 45s.
