In My Opinion...
I adore Randy’s Now Man Cave. This tiny shop in Bordentown, NJ possesses a piece of my heart and soul. First and foremost, Randy, himself, is one of the most friendly and genuine men you will ever meet. Not to mention that his staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, too. As soon as you walk into Randy’s you are transported to another time. There’s old school candy, soda bottles, and gags lining the walls around the records. It truly makes you feel like you’re in another decade, when everything appears to be much…simpler. As if the candy and unique soda bottle collection isn’t enough to entice you, the records are impeccable. Randy has an interesting collection of genres available, and each genre has a well-stocked selection of records. The records within the main room tend to be on the higher end of the price spectrum, but they’re worth the money. Some of the records do not show any signs of wear and tear. If you’re just starting out, and you’re looking for records on the cheaper side, head upstairs, and you’ll find a huge bookcase or two of records priced rather cheap. I love Randy’s because you never know what you’re going to find, and you never know what’s going to find you. Last I was there, I found a Friday the 13th soundtrack. It sounds incredible, and I am not ashamed to admit that I listen to it every night. If they friendly staff, incredible record selection, and devilishly deliciously looking candy isn’t enough to attract you to this fun little shop, you need to rethink what you consider to be important in your life.
What the people say...
"Randy's is awesome! So many cool, new records, at a decent price. I'd much rather give my money to local businesses than big businesses like Best Buy or Amazon. Randy is super friendly and knowledgeable. They even ordered me a record that they didn't have in store, so I can pick it up next week.
